AN ACT LIMITING THE NUMBER OF STATE ELECTIONS
ENFORCEMENT COMMISSION AUDITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 9-7b of the general statutes be amended to provide that, 1
when the State Elections Enforcement Commission conducts audits 2
after an election or primary, said commission shall randomly audit not 3
more than five per cent of candidate committees. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To limit to five per cent the number of candidate committees to be
audited by the State Elections Enforcement Commission after an
election or primary.
