AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR ENERGY
SYSTEMS IN HISTORIC DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 7-147f of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a 1
historic district commission from declining to issue certificate of 2
appropriateness based on the proposed installation of a solar energy 3
system if such system is to be installed on a rear-facing roof of a 4
structure. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit a historic district commission from declining to issue
certificate of appropriateness based on the proposed installation of a
solar energy system if such system is to be installed on a rear-facing roof
of a structure.
