AN ACT AUTHORIZING LOCAL BUTCHER SHOPS TO PROCESS
FARMER-OWNED USDA AND INSPECTED MEAT PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize local butcher shops 1
to process farmer-owned and United States Department of Agriculture 2
inspected livestock. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To alleviate livestock processing backlogs in the state.
