AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELECTION OF STATE'S ATTORNEYS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that state's 1
attorneys shall be elected (1) by the electors residing in each of the 2
judicial districts, (2) at the state election held in 2026, and quadrennially 3
thereafter, and (3) to serve four-year terms beginning January first 4
following the state election at which so elected. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for the election of a state's attorney in each of the judicial
districts.
