AN ACT CONCERNING UMBRELLA LIABILITY COVERAGE FOR
PUBLIC OFFICIALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that insurance 1
carriers shall provide liability coverage, including general liability and 2
automobile liability coverage, that is supplemental to an underlying 3
liability policy for elected public officials. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that insurance carriers shall provide liability coverage,
including general liability and automobile liability coverage, that is
supplemental to an underlying liability policy for elected public
officials.
