| 30 | 30 | | That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish a process 1 |

| 31 | 31 | | in which the cost of special education tuition is set and may be adjusted, 2 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | and such cost shall (1) be based on a review of the current and prior year 3 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | budget for each organization providing special education, (2) be 4 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | uniform across all student program placements, except where 5 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | customized services are required, (3) for for-profit providers, reflect a 6 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | predetermined amount of profit that the provider may earn, (4) be 7 |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | increased by no more than an amount equal to the current cost plus an 8 |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | adjustment amount to be determined after the review of the current and 9 |
