2525 AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF A PROCESS TO SET
2626 SPECIAL EDUCATION TUITION COSTS.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2828 Assembly convened:

3030 That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish a process 1
3131 in which the cost of special education tuition is set and may be adjusted, 2
3232 and such cost shall (1) be based on a review of the current and prior year 3
3333 budget for each organization providing special education, (2) be 4
3434 uniform across all student program placements, except where 5
3535 customized services are required, (3) for for-profit providers, reflect a 6
3636 predetermined amount of profit that the provider may earn, (4) be 7
3737 increased by no more than an amount equal to the current cost plus an 8
3838 adjustment amount to be determined after the review of the current and 9
3939 prior year budget for each such organization, and (5) be posted on the 10
