AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALE OF DEVICES THAT AMPLIFY THE
NOISE EMITTED BY A VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 14-80a of the general statutes be 1
amended to prohibit the sale of devices designed to amplify the noise 2
emitted by a vehicle. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To decrease noise pollution on the roadways.
