AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE AGENCIES AND MUNICIPALITIES
FROM PURCHASING OR OPERATING CERTAIN UNMANNED
AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any state agency or 1
municipality from purchasing or operating any unmanned aircraft 2
system manufactured or assembled in the People's Republic of China or 3
the Russian Federation. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit any state agency or municipality from purchasing or
operating unmanned aircraft systems manufactured or assembled in the
People's Republic of China or the Russian Federation to protect national
security and prevent reliance on foreign adversaries.
