20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

23 | 23 | That the general statutes be amended to require each solar leasing or 1 | |
24 | 24 | finance company doing business in this state to (1) provide payoff or 2 | |
25 | 25 | transfer paperwork to a consumer not later than seven days after the 3 | |
26 | 26 | consumer requests such paperwork, and (2) provide to the consumer a 4 | |
27 | 27 | rebate in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars if such company fails 5 | |
28 | 28 | to timely provide such paperwork to the consumer. 6 | |
29 | 29 | Statement of Purpose: | |
