AN ACT REQUIRING A FEASIBILITY STUDY OF INSURANCE
POOLING FOR NONPROFIT ENTITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require that the 1
Insurance Commissioner study the feasibility of allowing one or more 2
nonprofit entities to pool such nonprofit entities' liability insurance 3
policies, including general liability insurance and automobile liability 4
insurance. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require that the Insurance Commissioner study the feasibility of
allowing one or more nonprofit entities to pool such nonprofit entities'
liability insurance policies, including general liability insurance and
automobile liability insurance.
