AN ACT ALLOWING TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS TO MAKE
DECISIONS ABOUT END-OF-LIFE CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow terminally ill patients 1
to make decisions about their end-of-life care that do not force them to 2
endure lengthy, painful deaths. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow terminally ill patients to make decisions about their end-of-life
care that do not cause them to endure lengthy, painful deaths.
