AN ACT CONCERNING RETIRED TEACHERS' HEALTH INSURANCE
BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 167a of the general statutes be amended to require that 1
the state pay a one-third subsidy toward the total monthly premium cost 2
of retired teachers' Medicare supplement health insurance coverage. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To restore the full state subsidy of one-third of the full cost of the
premium for teachers' retirement health insurance benefits.
