AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE ENCOMPASS
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM SERVING THE ELDERLY AND
DISABLED POPULATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Social Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 2
30, 2026, for operation and administration of the Encompass Program 3
that provides transportation services in the greater Hartford area to 4
persons who are elderly and disabled. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide continued funding for the operation and administration of
the transportation program serving the elderly and persons with
disabilities in the Capitol region.
