AN ACT ELIMINATING THE USE OF INCINERATION FOR SOLID
WASTE PROCESSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate the use of 1
incineration for solid waste processing and replacing such use with new 2
technologies that create new job opportunities and reduce costs for 3
municipalities. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the use of incineration for solid waste processing and
utilize new technologies that create jobs and reduce municipal costs.
