AN ACT REQUIRING THE MICROCHIPPING OF CATS AND DOGS
SOLD OR ADOPTED IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the microchipping of 1
cats and dogs sold or adopted in the state. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To protect cats and dogs from abandonment and displacement.
