AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE BUDGET AND THE MEDICAID
LINE ITEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to require the budget 1
document to describe all allocations currently within the Medicaid line 2
item in separate line items. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide additional detail and transparency to the multibillion dollar
Medicaid line item in the state budget.
