AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE CONNECTICUT STATE
UNIVERSITY SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Board of Regents 1
for Higher Education to provide an annual independent financial and 2
compliance audit report and a comprehensive line item budget to the 3
legislative committees having cognizance of higher education and 4
appropriations and the budgets of state agencies as a condition of 5
receiving state block grant funds. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide transparency and ensure accountability for the proper
expenditure of block grant funds provided to the Connecticut State
University System.
