AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE PERFORMING
THEATERS GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That (1) the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department 1
of Economic and Community Development, from the General Fund, for 2
the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, June 30, 2027, and each fiscal year 3
thereafter, for the "Performing Theaters Grant" line item, and (2) 4
recipients of funding in said line item include The Katherine Hepburn 5
Cultural Arts Center, the New Haven Center for Performing Arts and 6
the Fairfield Theater Company. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the list of recipients of the Performing Theaters Grant and
appropriate additional funding for such grant.
