AN ACT CONCERNING SCHOOL WELLNESS POLICIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require local and 1
regional boards of education to implement the school wellness policy 2
standards developed by The University of Connecticut's Rudd Center 3
for Food Policy and Health. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that students with allergies are safe at school and have parties
that are toy and craft-based rather than food-based parties.
