AN ACT CONCERNING COOPERATIVE ARRANGEMENTS AMONG
BOARDS OF EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-158a of the general statutes be amended to allow 1
boards of education that have entered into a cooperative arrangement 2
to be considered a local education agency and to streamline and 3
incentivize boards of education to enter into cooperative arrangements 4
to reduce costs for shared services. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow boards of education that have entered into a cooperative
arrangement to be considered a local education agency.
