AN ACT CONCERNING THE CALCULATION OF THE STATE
STANDARD SPACE SPECIFICATIONS FOR OLDER SCHOOL
FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to revise the state 1
standard space specifications for existing school buildings by requiring 2
the Department of Administrative Services to consider the age of a 3
school facility and student enrollment figures in calculating the state 4
standard space specifications for such school buildings. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To revise the state standard space specifications under the school
building project grants program.
