AN ACT CONCERNING A SEWAGE RIGHT -TO-KNOW ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a sewage right-to-1
know act that requires notice of a sewage spill be provided by a facility 2
to all town residents and town officials downstream of such spill by 3
such facility into a running body of water such as a stream or river. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To warn residents, including those who fish and swim, of sewage spills
occurring along rivers and streams.
