AN ACT CONCERNING NET METERING FOR STAND -ALONE
ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that the owner of any 1
stand-alone energy storage system installed utilizing the Energy Storage 2
Solutions program administered by the Connecticut Green Bank receive 3
a credit for any excess electricity returned to the electric grid at the retail 4
price of such electricity. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require that stand-alone energy storage systems installed utilizing
the Energy Storage Solutions program receive net metering credits.
