AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS TO FONTAINE FIELD IN THE CITY OF NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five million two hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall 4
be used by the Department of Economic and Community Development 5
for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of Norwich for 6
capital improvements to Fontaine Field. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for capital improvements to Fontaine Field in the
city of Norwich.
