AN ACT PROHIBITING HEALTH INSURERS FROM USING ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE AS THE PRIMARY METHOD TO DENY HEALTH
INSURANCE CLAIMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any health insurer 1
from using artificial intelligence as the primary method to deny health 2
insurance claims. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit any health insurer from using artificial intelligence as the
primary method to deny health insurance claims.
