AN ACT REQUIRING THE STATE TO ENTER RECIPROCITY
AGREEMENTS WITH CERTAIN STATES REGARDING PERMITS TO
CARRY A PISTOL OR REVOLVER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 529 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
state to pursue and enter into reciprocity agreements with Rhode Island, 2
Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine to allow a permit 3
to carry a pistol or revolver issued by said states to be recognized in this 4
state. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To enter into reciprocity agreements with the New England states to
recognize permits to carry a pistol or revolver issued by said states.
