AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MINIMUM
STARTING SALARY FOR TEACHERS AND PARAEDUCATORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to require a 1
minimum starting salary of sixty thousand dollars for teachers and a 2
minimum starting salary of forty-five thousand dollars for 3
paraeducators employed in public schools. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a minimum starting salary for teachers and paraeducators
employed in public schools.
