AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MATCHING
GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE HIRING OF ADDITIONAL TEACHERS
AND PARAEDUCATORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
matching grant program for local and regional boards of education to 2
hire additional teachers and paraeducators. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide grants to boards of education to increase the number of
teachers and paraeducators per student.
