AN ACT CONCERNING SOLAR INSTALLATIONS IN CERTAIN
COMMON INTEREST OWNERSHIP COMMUNITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 828 of the general statutes be amended to allow the 1
installation or use of a solar power generating system on the roof of any 2
dwelling unit that is a single-family detached unit in any common 3
interest ownership community. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the installation of certain solar power generating systems that
serve single-family detached units in common interest ownership
communities.
