AN ACT ELIMINATING THE FEE FOR CERTAIN VEHICLES EXEMPT
FROM EMISSION INSPECTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (3) of subsection (k) of section 14-164c of the general 1
statutes be amended to eliminate the forty-dollar fee specified under 2
said section for the registration of certain motor vehicles that are exempt 3
from the periodic emissions inspection requirement. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To make registering a new motor vehicle more affordable.
