20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

23 | 23 | That chapter 412 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require the 1 | |
24 | 24 | owner of a mobile manufactured home park to provide written 2 | |
25 | 25 | notification of any rent increase to any resident of such mobile 3 | |
26 | 26 | manufactured home park, (2) allow a majority of affected residents of 4 | |
27 | 27 | such mobile manufactured home park to file a written petition to 5 | |
28 | 28 | dispute the amount of such rent increase and have a mediator appointed 6 | |
29 | 29 | to attempt to resolve the dispute, and (3) if the parties are unable to 7 | |
30 | 30 | resolve the dispute, allow a majority of affected residents of such mobile 8 | |
31 | 31 | manufactured home park to file a complaint in the superior court of 9 | |
32 | 32 | appropriate jurisdiction. 10 | |
