1818 AN ACT CONCERNING RENT INCREASES IN MOBILE
1919 MANUFACTURED HOME PARKS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That chapter 412 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require the 1
2424 owner of a mobile manufactured home park to provide written 2
2525 notification of any rent increase to any resident of such mobile 3
2626 manufactured home park, (2) allow a majority of affected residents of 4
2727 such mobile manufactured home park to file a written petition to 5
2828 dispute the amount of such rent increase and have a mediator appointed 6
2929 to attempt to resolve the dispute, and (3) if the parties are unable to 7
3030 resolve the dispute, allow a majority of affected residents of such mobile 8
3131 manufactured home park to file a complaint in the superior court of 9
3232 appropriate jurisdiction. 10
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To prevent excessive rent increases in mobile manufactured home parks
3535 and allow residents to dispute such rent increases.
