AN ACT CONCERNING UNIVERSAL SCHOOL MEALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish a state-1
funded grant program for local and regional boards of education to 2
provide free breakfast and lunch for students from kindergarten to 3
grade twelve, inclusive, who are not otherwise eligible for federally 4
funded free meals. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide universal free school meals to children.
