AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF NEW MUNICIPAL UTILITY
COMPANIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection 1
conduct a study of the feasibility of, and the support structure needed 2
for, the establishment of new municipal utility companies. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require a study of the feasibility of, and the support structure needed
for, the establishment of new municipal electric utilities.
