AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of five million dollars be appropriated to the 1
Department of Children and Families from the General Fund, for the 2
fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, for the Connecticut Suicide Advisory 3
Board, established pursuant to section 17a-52 of the general statutes, to 4
provide state-wide training and workshops on suicide prevention. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide suicide prevention training and workshops for behavioral
health providers, school employees, faculty members at institutions of
higher education, students, community members and their families.
