AN ACT PROHIBITING ANY STATE EMPLOYEE FROM EARNING A
GREATER ANNUAL SALARY THAN THE GOVERNOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 5 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any state 1
employee from earning an annual salary greater than the amount of the 2
salary of the Governor as provided in section 3-2 of the general statutes. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit any state employee from earning an annual salary greater
than that of the Governor.
