AN ACT ESTABLISHING A GRANT PROGRAM TO INTRODUCE THE
BUILDING TRADES TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a grant program to 1
incentivize high schools to offer introductory classes regarding the 2
building trades and allow the credits earned from such classes to apply 3
toward completion of an apprenticeship program in such trades. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To incentivize high schools to offer introductory classes regarding the
building trades and allow the credits earned from such classes to apply
toward completion of an apprenticeship program in such trades.
