AN ACT CONCERNING THE RATE OF REIMBURSEMENT FOR
SPECIAL EDUCATION COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit reduction of the 1
percentage of reimbursement for each school district's special education 2
costs from the prior year's percentage of reimbursement. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to predict the cost of special education by
prohibiting reduction of the reimbursement rate for special education
costs from the prior year's reimbursement rate.
