AN ACT CONCERNING A MODEL CURRICULUM FOR PREVENTION
OF OPIOID USE AND RELATED DISORDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-25b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Education to develop (1) a model curriculum for 2
prevention of opioid use and related disorders, and (2) guidelines for 3
volunteer presentations conducted at public schools related to 4
substance abuse prevention. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Education to develop (1) a model
curriculum for prevention of opioid use and related disorders, and (2)
guidelines for volunteer presentations related to substance abuse
prevention.
