AN ACT CONCERNING TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES FOR
CHILD CARE PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 184c of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Office of Early Childhood to (1) offer child care providers free and 2
accessible technical support services, including, but not limited to, 3
support in multiple languages and outside of traditional working hours, 4
and (2) conduct a study of the technology needs of child care providers 5
in order to support programming, services and reporting needs. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To support the technology and support needs of child care providers
based on the guidance of the Office of Early Childhood and The
University of Connecticut partnership.
