AN ACT PROHIBITING THE CULTIVATION OF OCTOPUS FOR
HUMAN CONSUMPTION AND THE USE OF OCTOPUS FOR
ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the cultivation of 1
octopus for human consumption and to prohibit the use of octopus for 2
entertainment purposes. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the farming of octopus for human consumption and the use
of octopus for entertainment purposes.
