AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE CONNECTICUT HOME ENERGY LABEL
AND CREATING A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ENERGY -EFFICIENCY
PROFESSIONALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Commissioner 1
of Energy and Environmental Protection to develop a label that 2
provides a score regarding a residence's energy efficiency, and (2) create 3
a training program for professionals who evaluate energy efficiency in 4
the state. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To (1) require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental
Protection to develop a label that provides a score regarding a
residence's energy efficiency, and (2) create a training program for
professionals who evaluate energy efficiency in the state.
