AN ACT CONCERNING A PROGRAM FOR INCREASED ADOPTION
OF HEAT PUMP WATER HEATERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of 1
Energy and Environmental Protection to establish a program to increase 2
the rate at which electrical resistance water heaters are replaced with 3
heat pump water heaters. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection
to establish a program to increase the rate at which electrical resistance
water heaters are replaced with heat pump water heaters.
