AN ACT CONCERNING COMMITTEE TREASURERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 155 of the general statutes be amended to allow an 1
individual who is not an elector to act as treasurer of a committee 2
provided (1) such individual files an affidavit with the State Elections 3
Enforcement Commission certifying such individual's intent to (A) 4
comply with state campaign finance law, and (B) submit to said 5
commission's exercise of personal jurisdiction in matters related to such 6
individual's capacity as treasurer of such committee, and (2) the deputy 7
treasurer of such committee is an elector. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To allow non-electors to serve as committee treasurers.
