LCO No. 4917 1 of 2 General Assembly Committee Bill No. 6011 January Session, 2025 LCO No. 4917 Referred to Committee on GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS Introduced by: (GAE) AN ACT REQUIRING THE ONLINE POSTING OF STATUTORILY REQUIRED STATE AGENCY REPORTS TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. Section 11-4a of the general statutes is repealed and the 1 following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2025): 2 Each commission, task force or committee appointed by the Governor 3 or the General Assembly, or both, and required to report its findings and 4 recommendations, and each state agency which submits a report to the 5 General Assembly or any committee of the General Assembly, shall (1) 6 submit its report electronically to the clerks of the Senate and the House 7 of Representatives and the Office of Legislative Research, [and shall] (2) 8 file one copy with the State Librarian, and (3) in the case of a state 9 agency, post such report on the Internet web site of such state agency. 10 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Section 1 October 1, 2025 11-4a Committee Bill No. 6011 LCO No. 4917 2 of 2 Statement of Purpose: To make state agency reports more accessible to the public and requiring their posting online.
