CARNEY, 23rd Dist. AN ACT REDUCING THE COST AND NUMBER OF DAYS OF EARLY VOTING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the number 1 of early voting days (1) at an election, from fourteen days to seven days, 2 and (2) at a primary, from seven days to three days. 3 Statement of Purpose: To reduce the cost to municipalities and taxpayers by reducing the number of days of early voting.
