AN ACT CONCERNING CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM GRANTS
AND EARLY VOTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to increase by 1
ten thousand dollars the grant amounts for candidates participating in 2
the Citizens' Election Program, to account for the added time and effort 3
in campaigning due to the implementation of early voting. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase Citizens' Election Program grants due to the implementation
of early voting.
