| 24 | 24 | That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that (1) prior 1 | |
| 25 | 25 | to being admitted as an elector, including during same-day election 2 | |
| 26 | 26 | registration, each person shall present to an election official proof of 3 | |
| 27 | 27 | such person's (A) United States citizenship, and (B) Connecticut 4 | |
| 28 | 28 | residency, and (2) prior to receiving and being able to cast a ballot, each 5 | |
| 29 | 29 | elector shall present to an election official a current and valid photo 6 | |
| 30 | 30 | identification, which identification clearly displays such elector's name 7 | |
