AN ACT DESIGNATING CONNECTICUT MICROBIOME DAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-29a of the general statutes be amended to designate 1
June twenty-seventh of each year as Connecticut Microbiome Day, in 2
recognition of the role of microbiome therapeutics in combatting 3
diseases; to celebrate Connecticut research achievements in microbiome 4
research; to recognize and raise awareness of the role human, animal 5
and environmental microbiomes have on health and to encourage 6
students and the public to learn more about the impacts of the human 7
microbiome. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To designate June twenty-seventh of each year as Connecticut
Microbiome Day.
