AN ACT CONCERNING PENALTIES FOR CERTAIN FELONY
VIOLATIONS OF ELECTION LAWS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that certain 1
felony violations of election laws shall carry a penalty of a minimum 2
term of imprisonment of twelve months that may not be suspended or 3
reduced. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To impose one-year mandatory minimum prison sentences for certain
felony violations of election laws.
