AN ACT AUTHORIZING SELF -CERTIFICATION AS A SMALL
BUSINESS ENTERPRISE OR MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 58 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management to establish and 2
maintain an Internet web site for minority business enterprises to self-3
certify to obtain the designation of small business enterprise or 4
minority-owned business. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To make obtaining certification as a small business enterprise or
minority-owned business easier by creating a new Internet web site for
self-certification.
